FlipDevices SMS Terms & Opt-In
FlipDevices (Program Name: FlipDevices Alerts) sends transactional SMS messages related to device trade-in offers, shipping updates, repair bookings, and customer-service replies. This page describes exactly how our SMS program works so you can decide whether to opt in.
How to opt in
Opting in to our SMS program is 100% optional and is never required to buy from us, sell to us, or get a repair. You can opt in in one of two ways:
- At checkout, when accepting a trade-in offer — on the /checkout page you'll see an unchecked box labeled:☐ I agree to receive SMS messages from FlipDevices about my offer and order (quotes, shipping/tracking, payment, and support replies). Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.Check the box and enter your mobile number to consent.
- When booking a repair — on the /repairs page you'll see the same unchecked opt-in box on the contact step. Check the box and enter your mobile number to consent.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. If you leave the box unchecked, we'll only contact you by email.
What messages you'll receive
- Offer confirmations and quote updates for devices you sell to us.
- Shipping label ready / package received / payment sent notifications.
- Repair booking confirmations, technician ETA, and completion notices.
- Replies from our customer-service team to messages you send us first.
Typically 2–8 messages per transaction. We do not send marketing blasts.
Standard carrier message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier.
Opt-out & help
- Reply STOP to any FlipDevices message at any time to unsubscribe. You'll receive one final confirmation SMS and no further messages.
- Reply HELP for support, or email support@flipdevices.com.

Supported carriers
Our SMS program works with major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
FlipDevices does not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent is not shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering the SMS messages you opted in to receive (e.g. our SMS delivery provider, Twilio).
